Margo,
Thanks for reminding me to check out the history of the Replica of the Eifel Tower in front of the Bon Homme County Court House. So far I've found out that the was a Memorial placed in the WWII era. I'll encourage Josh and Justin, the young men who are preparing a web site for Tyndall at www.tyndallsd.com, to put more information on the site along with a photo. The Web Site is also an outgrowth of Horizon Community Leadership projects. Marilyn

Enjoyed visiting with Marilyn at the Marketing Seminar in Armour. Congratulations on your successful start with the Bargain Shoppe. Any history on the tower yet, Marilyn?

Our Sanborn Central group sat by Marilyn Stone at the marketing seminar in Armour and we learned about Tyndall's Bargain Shoppe. What a great project started by your Horizons group! People always have items to donate and this is a great way for people to shop locally so the money can be put back into the community.

What a great and amusing account of your experiences at the Bargain Shoppe! We can also tell people that it is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and possibly on Thursdays in the near future. It is amazing that VOLUNTEERS are keeping this business open and a huge example of positive structural change that has resulted from Horizons. We can also tell people that dollars earned are returned to projects within the community of Tyndall ( after expenses). Stop and shop!
