<description>Artesian's Senior Meal Program just celebrated their 1st anniversary on Jan. 8th. Their meals are also only $3.00 for people age 60 and older. (The cost for those under 60 is $5.00 per meal.) In the past year, they have served 1,976 meals! Their average attendance is 21, with as many as 32 attending at times. Their meals are prepared at the Middle School in Mitchell and are delivered to the Community Center in Artesian on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a great program and I was happy to see that so many people in the community are taking advantage of it.
